A 17thC former coaching inn set in open
countryside midway between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National
Parks and an excellent base for walking and touring England's North Country. Friendly, relaxed and informal,

The Fat Lamb combines both modern amenities and comfort

A luxurious country house in the heart of the
Yorkshire Dales which peeps down upon the river Ure from its
seat above the main Leyburn to Hawes road. It is set within 3 acres of
magnificent formal grounds,
stretching into views of the surrounding hills. A private gate gives access
onto a further 10 acres surrounding the property, where a gentle climb is rewarded by one of the best views imaginable.
Guests are at liberty to relax in the house and grounds
throughout the day.
We offer a choice of 9 individually styled rooms, all tastefully decorated
and furnished in keeping with the Edwardian era but blending in modern

far reaching moorland views and is right on the Dales Way. Enjoy
