at our charming converted 18thC barn cottages in a
tranquil rural setting overlooking rolling farmland, rich in
wildlife. Easy access to breathtaking Dorset Jurassic Coastline, Iron Age Hill
Forts of Eggardon Hill and Maiden Castle, historic National
Trust properties e.g. Kingston Lacey and Montacute House,
renowned gardens including Abbotsbury, Athelhampton and Forde
Abbey and exciting children’s attractions e.g Monkey World. The
cottages are maintained to a high standard and are an
excellent base for walking a network of footpaths including
the MacMillan Way which crosses the property. All have wood
burning stoves, a full range of modern equipment, private patio
and garden with furniture and bbq. Small games room and shared
laundry. Maiden Newton a thriving village 2 miles distant boasts
its own bakery, family pub, restaurant, fish and chips,
newsagent with coffee shop, general store and Post Office.

accommodation, digital TV’s with Freeview, and enclosed furnished
patios with BBQ, ideal for relaxing after a long day. Forester’s 4
Stars – sleeps 4 + cot. Double and twin bedrooms en-suite. Keeper’s –
5 Stars – sleeps 4/5 + cot. Superking double en-suite and a large twin
room with an extra single bed if required. Plus separate family

The Willows is our luxurious 4 star farmhouse accommodation for
up to 6 people with its own large private garden surrounded by
willow trees with a patio and private entrance to the duck-pond.
Each of the 3 bedrooms has en-suite facilities and lovely views
over the surroundings fields and gardens.
The 4 barn conversions were formerly part of the old courtyard
and have been tastefully converted whilst retaining many former
features such as exposed stone walls and exposed beams.
Affectionately named after Wind in the Willows characters, they
are all comfortably furnished, well equipped and offer excellent
facilities.
Within
easy reach of Cerne Abbas and the historic towns of Sherborne and
Dorchester. Enjoy some of the many delightful walks in the
surrounding area or on the lovely Dorset coast. Many good local inns, one within 100 yards.
