The Willows is our luxurious 4 star farmhouse accommodation for up to 6 people with its own large private garden surrounded by willow trees with a patio and private entrance to the duck-pond. Each of the 3 bedrooms has en-suite facilities and lovely views over the surroundings fields and gardens.  The 4 barn conversions were formerly part of the old courtyard and have been tastefully converted whilst retaining many former features such as exposed stone walls and exposed beams. Affectionately named after Wind in the Willows characters, they are all comfortably furnished, well equipped and offer excellent facilities. Within easy reach of Cerne Abbas and the historic towns of Sherborne and Dorchester. Enjoy some of the many delightful walks in the surrounding area or on the lovely Dorset coast. Meerhay Manor is a thatched hamstone house at the foot of the southern slopes of the Dorset Downs just 7 miles from the coast and close to many long distance paths including South-west coast path, Dorset Jubilee Trail and Monarch's Way. Its exact age is unknown, but it was rebuilt in 1610. There are 4 acres of garden, featuring many exotic tree species, and 35 acres of rolling farmland surround the property. We have a number of animals including horses and ponies, dogs and a flock of Portland sheep. Stable Cottage is a ground floor conversion of a barn especially modified for wheelchair users and sleeps 2/3 people. It has a spacious living room with high ceiling and exposed beams, fully fitted modern kitchen, a very spacious bathroom designed for the independence of a disabled person and a twin bedded bedroom (which can be put together as a double if required) with en-suite bathroom. Sofa bed in living room. Prices from £200 per week including use of owner's garden and tennis court by arrangement.
