Llanwrtyd Wells

 4 individual cottages in the 3 acres of gardens and mixed woodlands of a Victorian Hunting Lodge where you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of undisturbed nature. The cottages are warm and well equipped and range from a cosy cottage for 2 to more spacious living for 3, 4, 5 or more. Combinations for families/groups of up to 15 who wish to spend time together in comfortable surroundings which retain a high standard of comfort and privacy. Each cottage has a south facing stone terrace with wonderful views down the Irfon Valley.
 Llanwrtyd Wells is 3 miles down the valley along the River Irfon. Here there is a diverse range of facilities including restaurants, real pubs and shops providing all the basic necessities.
The Cambrian Mountains are ideal for walking, both for those who like a quiet afternoon stroll, a leisurely picnic on the river bank or wish to undertake longer rambles or are staying with us as a break as part of a longer journey on the alternative section of the Wye Valley Walk. Ordnance survey maps and walking routes available and we can provide packed lunches and experienced guides if required.

Llanthony, Near Abergavenny
 

Situated on a hillside farm, overlooking the renowned Llanthony Valley near the graceful ruins of the 12thC Priory. This is an ideal base for walking, pony trekking, painting, or just relaxing in the most peaceful surroundings. Offa's Dyke footpath lies on the hill behind the farm and there is superb walking in the National Park from the doorstep.
Oak Cottage is ideal for a couple. It is open plan, ground floor and really warm and welcoming. It has a beautiful oak floor, under-floor heating and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. Wheel-chair access. Sleeps 2/3
Flagstone Cottage is bright and cosy with a large fireplace and heated flagstone floor. The French windows open onto magnificent views. Large double bedroom, two children's beds in gallery room above and one single bed in the living room.  Pretty cobbled garden, ideal for breakfast. Sleeps 2-4 plus 2 children.
BBQ and outdoor furniture available. Two local inns serving food and real ale.

Pontbren Ddu
Llanafan Fawr, Builth Wells

Quietly nestling in its own garden, with no close neighbours, surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape leading onto National Trust countryside. Pontbren enjoys beautiful views in every direction with wonderful walks straight from the door and offers a lovely refuge from the daily grind.
The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and attention to detail ensures a holiday to remember. There is a cosy lounge/diner with wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen, utility room, shower room with toilet and bidet, master bedroom with king size bed and a second twin bedroom.

Cottage holidays in the Elan Valley

A remote 10 acre smallholding high up on the edge of open moorland amidst wonderful scenery, with livestock, extensive gardens, woodland, stream and ponds. Restored in a sympathetic and sustainable way with 2 holiday cottages, a converted stone granary and an 18thC cottage providing the setting for ‘green’ holidays – features include solar panels, electricity from renewable sources and pure spring water on tap. It borders open access National Trust/Elan Valley Trust moorland, RSPB reserves and the Elan Valley reservoirs. Abundant wildlife can be seen year round.
 Originally the living quarters of a traditional Welsh longhouse, the Cottage has been sympathetically modernised with the old oak beams, stairs and inglenook fireplace left intact. It offers 3 bedrooms (sleeping 7), open plan kitchen/living room, sun/dining room and bathroom. Outside are gardens with miles of open access countryside beyond.
The Granary has 2 compact bedrooms, shower room with toilet and an open plan kitchen/living room with glazed balcony dining area providing an excellent observation spot.

Maerdy Holiday Cottages, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, are ideal for group accommodation, short breaks, B&B or a holiday in rural Mid Wales. In one of the loveliest valleys in Wales surrounded by woods and farmland, the 300-year old farmhouse and its original stone buildings have been beautifully converted into 6 cottages sleeping between 3 and 10 people. Two are totally wheelchair accessible.
Enjoying a tranquil setting amongst mature wooded gardens with a stream, they are furnished with many antiques and well equipped throughout. Warm, welcoming and cosy retreats ideal for a holiday at any time of the year and perfect for relaxing winter breaks. The grounds offer plenty of space for children and dogs, and lovely walks straight from the cottage doors will delight country lovers, bird watchers and serious hikers alike. Three individual properties of great character situated on the 33 acre Glangrwyney Court estate near to the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Wye Valley.
The Lodge has been refurbished to offer comfortable accommodation for 4 people. All rooms are beautifully furnished with pretty drapes and bed linen and lots of special touches to offer guests a comfortable stay. Outside there is parking for 2 cars and a private garden which looks across the fields.

Gardener's Cottage is set in a delightful private courtyard and sleeps 4 with accommodation including a delightful galleried bedroom with canopied bed and 2 en-suite bathrooms. Sit out in the courtyard and enjoy breakfast on a beautiful morning or drinks on a balmy summer evening.
Coachman's Cottage,
again in a delightful cobbled courtyard, is really more resembling a home from home than just a self catering cottage. Spacious and comfortable accommodation for 4 with a French influence as well as many pretty touches to make staying a memorable experience.

Llanfair Caereinion

 Cwm Dail is situated within the grounds of a working farm at the head of a secluded valley overlooking the river Rhiw and the quiet hills to the south-west of Llanfair Caereinion. This extremely attractive timber-frame and stone cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard retaining many of its original features including an inglenook fire place and traditional oak beams.
Easy access to an intricate network of country paths including farm walks along the banks of the river Rhiw. Ideal for those who enjoy a quiet country holiday, however the shops and pubs of Llanfair Caereinion are just 2½ miles away.
