A cosy yet grand Victorian mansion occupying a commanding position above the River Usk in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Situated in 35 acres of gardens, the house offers 23 individual en-suite bedrooms, priced according to size and view, the best have spectacular views across the Usk valley, while others look over our magnificent grounds. We have been awarded an AA Rosette for cooking for the 8th year in a row. Our approach towards food at is simple: good food, well presented using the best of local produce and the freshest of ingredients.
 The perfect base for exploring this part of Wales, Gliffaes is often used as a base by informal groups for a weekend or longer of walking, good food and wine. We can help in route planning, taking you to start points, picnics or even arranging for a guide to lead you over the less well trodden parts. Walking and fishing holiday packages are available.
