It is conveniently located on the corner of a busy high street in the heart of the delightful market town of Steyning, 100 yards from various amenities, restaurants, and bordered by the glorious South Downs National Park, access to which is only 100 yards from the door. Formerly the town’s sweet shop, this charming cottage is one of a pair and has many features such as an exposed flint wall in the living room, a wood-burning stove, sloping ceilings and beams. Easy access to South Downs Way and convenient for many NT homes and gardens. Brighton, Arundel, Worthing and Chichester are within easy driving distance. Shops 100 yards, pub 50 yards.

There is a lawned, well-maintained mature enclosed garden, a sitting-out area and parking is along the lane adjacent to the cottage. Set in a picturesque village near the green, it is only 5 minutes’ drive to Midhurst, which has various restaurants, pubs and shops. The quaint village of Petworth is also nearby with its plentiful antique shops and beautiful stately home, Petworth House. Chichester has its ornate cathedral, tea rooms, extensive shopping, festival theatre and harbour tours, or alternatively Arundel which also has a cathedral, famous castle and Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Amidst beautiful rolling countryside and farmland, set in the grounds of the owner’s farmhouse within a working farm, Drayton Farm Barns have been skillfully converted from one large barn. Offering plenty of light and space, these 3 beautifully presented barns have been tastefully furnished to a high specification. 'Henwood' is an ‘upside down’ house, designed with the living area on the first floor to take advantage of the superb countryside views. They enjoy shared use of a large lawned garden and direct access to miles of scenic walks in this wonderful part of Hampshire within the Meon Valley, with the river meandering through the farmland.
Just over a mile is the quaint thatched roof village of East Meon, which has shops, a church and two renowned pubs serving good food. West Meon (where Thomas Lord rests, founder of Lords cricket) is also close by with award-winning butchers and pub. Within easy reach are the glorious South Downs, Portsmouth, The Mary Rose and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. Shops 1½ miles.
All barns have an open-plan living/dining room with well equipped kitchen area and oak floor. 'Shepherds Den' has a double bedroom on the first floor with a 6ft zip and link bed,en-suite bathroom and separate shower. 'Stable Cottage' and 'Henwood' each have a
double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite shower room with toilet plus twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and toilet. 'Henwood' has an additional single bed. Beams throughout. Wifi, shared laundry room
