A lovely
old house built
in 1840 as the vicarage for Clehonger church and situated in the sleepy
hamlet of Old Clehonger, 3 miles from the historic city centre of Hereford.
It is an ideal base for walkers being close to the Wye Valley Path, Golden
Valley and Black Mountains and

We offer quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation for those seeking a
tranquil rural setting. There are 3 double and 1 twin on the first floor all
with en-suite facilities and 1 double and 1 single on the ground floor that
share facilities. All overlook the garden or open countryside. Super
breakfasts made from locally sourced produce where possible and evening
meals are available by arrangement. Julian has been a top London chef and
worked in prestigious hotels, clubs and restaurants.

Enjoy a
walking break while staying in comfortable family run accommodation at the
Rock, formerly a 17thC coaching inn and set in a designated area of
outstanding natural beauty. From here the Forest of Dean stretches down to
the
Wye
Valley. Symonds Yat Rock is a 20 minute stroll along forest paths and within
30 metres of the front door is the start of several circular walks utilising
sections of the long distance footpaths Wysis Way, Offas Dyke,
Gloucestershire Way, Wye Valley Way and many other ancient and forestry
tracks. The Rock produce their own walking guides for local walks and also
loan guests OS maps and published walking guides for the area. The garden
has magnificent views over the Ruardean valley and a hot tub to relax aching
muscles at the end of a day.
The Rock is known for its generous and high quality breakfasts using
local ingredients where possible. Meals are served in the breakfast
room/lounge - a popular room with clubs and groups to meet up and chat around
the wood burner. All rooms are en-suite and
located in an annex to the main house with forest views. Studio rooms let on a B & B basis but offer some self catering facilities.

Phil and Daphne ensure a very warm welcome with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in their farmhouse which dates back to 1780 and situated close to Symonds Yat, the Wye Valley and Ross-on-Wye. The working farm extends 184 acres with 20 acres of woodland and is near to endless forest tracks for walking and mountain bike riding.
Take time to unwind over our excellent traditional farmhouse breakfast using local produce, served at individual tables at a time of your choice in the large conservatory overlooking garden and countryside. Our cosy guest lounge provides relaxation at any time during your stay. Bring in or order takeaway food as a laid table can be available by prior arrangement.

Lindors is a charming 19thC property situated in the Welsh borders between Monmouth and Chepstow, approx. 1 mile on the Coleford side of Bigsweir Bridge. It is set in 9 acres of beautiful wooded gardens, through which a brook descends by a series of pools and waterfalls to the River Wye in the valley below.
The house has 23 fully equipped en-suite bedrooms (2 disabled) and can accommodate 48 guests. As a former coaching inn The Swan at Hay is full of character, from the original Georgian windows overlooking the garden to the cobbled stable block.
