FACTFILE

Length

 127 km/79 miles Hessle, Kingston upon Hull to Filey. A curving route around and across the Yorkshire Wolds via Market Weighton, linking the North Sea to the Humber. From the highest point on the Wolds Way, you can glimpse Lincoln Cathedral and the towers of the Humber Bridge, York Minster to the west and the lighthouse on Flamborough Head to the east.

Terrain

 Not too strenuous, peaceful and quiet. 42 miles of footpath and 17 miles of bridleway. The remaining 20 miles is either minor road or road used as public path or Byway open to all traffic. There are 120 stiles, 27 gates and 13 bridges

 Centenary Way (North Yorkshire), Cleveland Way, East Riding Heritage Way, High Hunsley Circuit, Minster Way, Nev Cole Way (via Humber Bridge), North Wolds Walk, Trans Pennine Trail, Viking Way.
